Original Medicare
Original Medicare consists of Medicare Part A and Part B, which is hospital and medical insurance. With these plans, you will receive coverage for your inpatient and outpatient costs.
Medicare Supplements
Medicare Supplements fill the gaps of Original Medicare, covering the costs that are originally left as your responsibility. These costs include copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage is Medicare Part C. They offer the same benefits as Original Medicare, but many Medicare Advantage Plans include additional coverage, such as dental and vision.
Prescription Drug Coverage
Medicare Part D provides prescription drug coverage. Each Part D plan is required to cover at least two drugs from each category. You can buy this part as a standalone plan or with Part C.
